Cost effective global carbon abatement
The third UKNEE seminar of 2010 took place on Thursday, 14th October at the Department for Energy and Climate Change, 3 Whitehall Place, London, SW1A 2AW.
The guest speakers were Martine Clark, from the International Climate Change Economics team at DECC and Mario Deconti, from the Agriculture-Environment team in Defra. Martine presented her team's work on a sectoral approach to mitigation, and Mario Deconti presented his team's analysis on GHG mitigation potential from UK agriculture and ancillary costs/benefits of GHG abatement.
