Bruno Lanz

Bruno Lanz is a part-time consultant with eftec and a PhD candidate in Economics at ETH Zürich (Switzerland). Since joining eftec in 2006, his work has mainly focused on the economic valuation of non-marketed goods, cost-benefit analysis, and applied natural resource management.

Bruno's clients include the European Commission, governmental agencies in the UK, private utilities, and non-profit organisations.

Aside from his work with eftec, Bruno is a PhD candidate in Economics at the Centre for Energy Policy and Economics, ETH Zürich (Switzerland). His current research includes the development of large-scale numerical models of economic behaviour for the purpose of ex-ante policy assessment. He also works on the design of discrete choice experiments used to value environmental amenities.

Bruno holds a BSc and MSc in Economics from the University of Lausanne (Switzerland) as well as an MSc in Environmental and Resource Economics from University College London. He works in English and French.
