The UK Network of Environmental Economists aims to bring together environmental economists from academia, consultancy and public and private sectors to foster closer relationships, follow recent developments and share experience.

UKNEE organises regular seminars on topical subjects in environmental economics followed by social evenings. Further information on the seminar series and downloads for the previous presentations can be found here.

Each year UKNEE hosts envecon: Applied Environmental Economics Conference. This year's conference took place on Friday 15th March 2013 and we are aiming to upload all the final papers by the beginning of April 2013.  The content of past conferences with downloadable articles and presentations can also be viewed via this link.

In September 2011, UKNEE launched a new publication: Journal of Environmental Economics and Policy (JEEP). It will feature articles on applied environmental economics to appeal to public and private sector decision makers. The journal website is currently under construction. In the meantime, please click here to see the call for papers.

UKNEE is managed by eftec (Economics for the Environment Consultancy) and this year is supported by Value Nature Network (VNN), The Centre for Social and Economic Research on the Global Environment (CSERGE) and eftec.
