Dr Camille Bann has 18 years of experience as an environmental specialising in the valuation of natural resources and economic appraisal. Prior to becoming a freelance expert and working closely with eftec from June 2009, Camille directed the environmental economics team at Jacobs. She has also held the position of Principle Economist at the Environment Agency, where she lead the Agency on the development of economic appraisal tools for the Water Framework Directive, and worked as an international consultant with a focus on South East Asia for a range of private, public, academic and third-sector clients. Camille holds a Phd in Economics from University College London.
Paul Metcalfe joins eftec’s associates as an independent economic consultant with 10 years' post-graduate research and consultancy experience, including in the Energy, Environment, Transport, and Water Global Practice of NERA Economic Consulting, and in the Centre for Market and Public Organisation at the University of Bristol. Paul specialises in modelling and forecasting economic variables; design and analysis of quantitative surveys; cost-benefit analysis; environmental valuation; and econometric methods in water, transport, environment, health and local government sectors. Paul has an MSc in Economics from the University of York, and is currently studying for a PhD in Environmental Economics at the London School of Economics.
