Private Sector Industrial Pollution Abatement Project - TurkeyIn the face of the increasing environmental awareness of Turkish industry and the pressure from international markets (especially the EU) to reduce the environmental impacts of industrial processes, the industry is in need of new finance for pollution abatement. The World Bank is willing to offer a new credit package with commercial interest rates but a longer maturity period. Conjunctive Use of the Weir Wook Reservoir And River Rother, Sussex: A Pilot Valuation StudySouthern Water was considering the conjunctive use of Weirwood Reservoir and River Rother in West Sussex to address water supply and demand issues in North Sussex.
