Aideen Moylan, a Researcher at eftec, joined the core team in September 2018 after completing a successful six-week internship. Her dissertation she used contingent valuation and travel cost methods to estimate the economic value of a stretch of the country-wide England Coast Path Scheme. She was awarded the Social Sciences Prize by the School of Environmental Sciences, for the highest mark achieved in a social sciences dissertation. As part of her degree programme, she also completed an industrial placement, where she worked within the countryside access team of local authority, assisting with the management, maintenance and promotion of a 1,200-mile network of long distance walking trails.

Her work at eftec so far has been focused on corporate natural capital accounting, and she is looking forward to working on a variety of projects, and covering a range of topics, as her time at eftec continues.

Aideen holds a first-class honours degree in BSC in Geography from the University of East Anglia.
