Boris Babic, a Consultant at eftec, joined the team in January 2022. His main responsibilities at eftec are assisting both public and private sector organisations with economic valuation of non-market goods and services. Boris has worked on several projects which estimate the values of environmental goods and services, largely involving water and wastewater service provision, along with species recovery and housing developments. He is working on projects for various water companies, the Environmental Agency, Defra, and DBT (Department for Business and Trade).

Prior to joining eftec, Boris obtained a Master's in economics at UCL, where his dissertation focused on mismanagement of natural resources. Boris also holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Royal Holloway, University of London, where he familiarised himself with statistical software, such as STATA.
