Dr Rob Tinch is a Technical Advisor. He first joined eftec in 1995 and re-joined the core team in April 2008. Rob has over 30 years’ experience in environmental and ecological economics in particular on European research projects, as well as on shorter projects for a range of UK and international clients, mostly in the public sector.  He is an associate editor of the Journal of Environmental Economics and Policy.  Rob’s current work is focused primarily on providing advice and quality control across a broad range of topics.

Rob holds a PhD "Resilience and Management of Stochastic Renewable Resource Systems" from the University of York, an MSc in Environmental Economics from University College London and a BA in Economics from the University of York. He is based in Brussels and works in English and French.
