Researcher

Frayr Bridgeman

Frayr joined eftec as a researcher in October 2024, supporting projects across all service areas through literature reviews, data analysis, and report writing, and contributing to the team’s wider business development efforts.

Frayr has supported numerous natural capital accounting projects, contributing across scoping, preparation, and auditing stages. She has also worked closely with environmental legislation, including helping to develop the European Ecosystem Accounting Handbook and aligning England’s public spending on natural capital with Environmental Improvement Plan goals and targets. In addition, she has contributed to the creation of national expenditure trackers and accounts, supporting accurate financial monitoring across different habitats, environmental assets and government targets.

Prior to joining eftec, Frayr completed an internship in sustainable futures at the University of York. The project aimed to identify, report on and encourage the implementation of environmental and sustainability themes throughout the curriculum of all subjects provided by the university.

Frayr holds a BA in Economics from Nottingham Trent University and an MSc in Environmental Economics and Environmental Management from the University of York.
